Tubular Turbine

The Tubular type turbines(also called through flow turbine or Straflo hydroturbine) is the best selection for exploitation of tidal power and hydraulic power with extremely low heads and extremely large flow rates. They have the peculiarity such as large discharge, high flow speed, high efficiency and less excavation, etc. They have been classified into Bulb turbine, Pit turbine, Siphon and “S” type turbine in the light of their structural type. Bochi has the ability to manufacture all types of Tubular turbine mentioned above.
Now, Bochi's manufacture base has developed 20 varieties of tubular turbines, ranging from 2 to 25 m in water head, 0.2 to 32MW in capacity and 0.8 to 7 m in runner diameter. They are thought to be the best selection for exploitation of low head hydropower resources in China.
